Tennis Directors

Adrian Zeman – Director of Tennis

Adrian started his career as an assistant, Head Coach and then Director in the junior, adult and world renowned Academy at the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in Texas. He then moved to Key Biscayne where we was the Director of Tennis Operations for Cliff Drysdale Management at the Ritz Carlton Tennis Garden and Crandon Park, home of the Sony Ericsson Championships.

Throughout his career Adrian has worked extensively on the ITF, ATP and WTA Tours, working and consulting for many professional players. His experience on the tour took him all over the world working with players all the way through to the grand slam level. Adrian has also been responsible for mentoring and coaching many players that took the opportunity to further their tennis careers through college tennis, coaching many division 1 NCAA players and players that made the NCAA finals.

Adrian now calls ZMG home and is responsible for the tennis programs for ZMG and is the day to day Director of the ZMG Tennis Academy.


Carlos Alvarado – Director, Adult Programs

After competing on the ATP Tour for five years, Julian Carlos Alvarado has had the opportunity to help many young players also succeed on the pro tour.

As a player Carlos played Davis Cup for Bolivia and held an ATP ranking of 230 in singles and 140 in doubles.

Carlos has worked with many top professional players and was the Davis Cup captain for Bolivia for 5 years.  Players under Carlos’s instruction have played on the ITF, ATP and WTA and also received scholarships do D1 colleges.  They have also won many prestigious titles such as the Orange Bowl, Eddie Herr, Kalamazoo and the French Open.

Carlos is responsible for all our ladies league teams here at ZMG Tennis and has a great following both from the ladies teams as well as the Adult members through both lessons and his daily clinics.
